Oluwo Pays Condolence Visit To Olupo In Council.

The Paramount Ruler of Iwoland, HIM Oba Abdulrosheed Adewale Akanbi, today, paid a condolence visit to the Olupo In Council over the demise of the Olupo of Oluponna, HRM Oba Emmanuel Onaolapo Oyebanji, Fadare II, who joined his ancestors last Monday.

Oluwo, joined by the Oloja of Agbarire (Oba Alajide), Otunba of Iwoland, Chief Sikiru Wahab Atanda, Oosa of Iwoland, Chief Yekini Orobimpe ,Princes and other chiefs were recieved by the Olupo In Council.

Oluwo described the Late Olupo as a monarch of merit whose lifetime was committed to the development of Oluponna. He said the late monarch symbolized industriousness, resourcefulness who prioritize his subjects future.

Oba Akanbi said the legacy of Olupo has immortalized his reign, tasking princes and Chiefs to sustain the tempo through appointment of worthy successor.

He disclosed Olupo was one of the very few monarchs who never sold his subjects’ lands.

Speaking on behalf of the town, Otunba of Oluponna, Chief Julius Ademola Akinlabi appreciated Oluwo and his entourage, saying the death of Olupo has created personal vacuum.

On behalf of the chiefs and princes of Oluponna, Otunba Akinlabi said due process will be followed along with Oluwo in ensuring the tempo of successes in Oluponna are sustained and improved.

“I commiserate with his queens, the Olupo In Council and the entire sons and daughters of Oluponna. May the appointed day far from each other”

“Olupo of Oluponna was a queit but very resourceful king, he prioritize his subjects welfare and never sold their land. He was one of the very few king who protected the future of their children. He was very hardworking and visionary”

“He didn’t die because his legacy has immortalized him. The best you can do to honour him is a worthy successor who will sustain his tempo”

“Once again, I condole the queen, their children and everything he left behind. May God continue to protect you all”
