OLUWO: A KING BY THE PEOPLE AND FOR THE PEOPLE AS HE PLAYED DRAUGHT AT OJUDE OBA

Human most especially the top players are known to be drunk in the pool of ego. It is a general knowledge that no status is as higher and reckoning than being an Oba (king). Despite that, Oluwo, a first class natural paramount ruler is an humble entity, an enigma , extrovert who mingle, jettisoned his security detail to interact with his people.

Oluwo, unusual of his usualness took a walk out of his palace, joined draft players at OJUDE Oba, Iwo, sat on the staking chair of draft and exchange hand in draft against Kamorudeen Arogundade.

Oluwo played against Arogundade with 1-0. It was fun and unexpected as the players were caught unaware. Oluwo left the joint with fanfare. It was a memorable moment. The team later paid a thank you visit to Oluwo as Oba Akanbi promised to donate a modern draft place and Opon Ayo to the joint. The team were led by the former Chairman of Iwo Local Government, Asali I.

This defines a monarch appointed by the will of God, working for his people and love by his people.
